2-Week Puppy Training Overview

Our 2-week training program aims to give your puppy a strong start in understanding how to be a member of your family through crate training, basic commands, potty training and learning boundaries within a home.

Key Areas Covered:

  1. Sleep Schedule: By the end of the program, your puppy will be crate-trained for sleep at night. Most will sleep through the night, but some may need potty breaks. Puppy will be taking regular crate naps during the day as well and working on being comfortable being left alone for short periods.
  2. Potty Training: We’ll reinforce potty training with 30 minute outdoor breaks and crate naps to support success. Puppy will be introduced to a dog door and potty bells.
  3. Name Recognition: Your puppy will learn to recognize and respond to their name, strengthening communication and bonding.
  4. Leash Introduction: Puppies will be gradually introduced to the leash, and at the beginning stages of understanding pressure and release communication.
  5. Basic Commands: Your puppy will master the commands “sit”, “down” and start working on “place” with positive reinforcement
  6. Manners Development: We’ll address basic manners, like not jumping or barking, to encourage polite behavior through positive reinforcement.

Additionally, we offer 2 weeks of ongoing support via text and phone calls to ensure continued success.

Who this program is ideal for?

This program is ideal for families who want to bring home a more mature, well-started puppy and minimize the overwhelm that often comes with the early months of puppy ownership. It is especially well suited for:

    • Families who want their puppy to return home with strong foundations, structure, and real-world manners already in place
    • Those living in apartments, condos, or urban environments where private outdoor potty areas are not available before a puppy is fully vaccinated
    • Busy households who want their puppy raised with consistency, routine, and intentional guidance from day one
    • First-time puppy owners who want support through the most challenging developmental stages
    • Families who value calm behavior, clear expectations, and a thoughtful transition home

This program is designed to ease the transition for both puppy and family by handling the most demanding early phases while building skills that carry into everyday life.

    Program Overview

Our 9-week puppy training program is a comprehensive, in-home board and train experience designed to give your puppy an exceptional start during their most critical developmental window. Your puppy will live in the Trainer’s home as part of the family and will be immersed in real-life learning from morning to night.

This is not a kennel-style program. Your puppy experiences daily structure, routine, love, and intentional training within a normal household environment. Training is woven into everyday life so skills are learned in context, not in isolation. The focus is on building calm behavior, confidence, and reliability that naturally transfer into your home.

Throughout the program, your puppy is guided through foundational skills and progressively introduced to higher expectations. By the end of the program, your puppy is not just familiar with commands, but understands structure, boundaries, and how to function calmly within a home and in public spaces.

This program emphasizes clarity, consistency, and positive reinforcement while shaping good habits and interrupting unwanted behaviors before they become patterns.

    What to expect:

By the completion of the 9-week program, your puppy will be well-started in the following areas:

    • Leash and collar manners.
Your puppy is introduced to leash walking and develops polite leash behavior appropriate for neighborhood and urban environments.
    • Impulse control and household manners.
